My name is Alan Harding and I would like to introduce you to myself and the services I provide.

I moved to Ipswich in 1988, from St David’s, Pembrokeshire.

In June 2023, I took the decision to move back to Wales, and brought the Mowtivate business with me to Pencarreg.

History

I worked in various jobs around Ipswich, my last one working at Hanson on Sproughton Road, whereby I was made redundant in December 2009.

I decided to take the plunge and set up my own business, so went to Hadlow College in Kent, and Otley College here to retrain in the horticultural sector, and get the necessary qualifications I wanted to offer a professional service at a reasonable price to residents and businesses in the area.

I then started up my own franchise under the Jim’s Mowing brand, I’m sure you may have seen it around town at one point or another. After being with this franchise since March 2010, I made the decision in October this year to go independant, and re-brand my business name to Mowtivate.

I offer a full range of lawncare and maintenance services to suit all gardens and budgets, large or small, am fully insured and all my work is guaranteed. I also hold the necessary NPTC qualifications required to carry out lawn treatments and tree surgery.

Service is Key

I carry out a lot of lawncare treatment and mowing services for my regular clients, but like to think I offer much more than this. I also do general garden maintenance services, as well as hedge cutting, border work, edging lawns, small tree work, pressure washing , pruning, minor landscaping, garden clean ups and erecting fence and trellis work. As I have developed a good working relationship with some of my clients I have even installed cat flaps, put up curtain and door hooks, as well as cleaning guttering and even painting, so a variety of services indeed.

I cover all major towns in the area from Ipswich, Felixstowe, Hadleigh, Stowmarket, Needham Market, Shotley and up as far as Woodbridge. Whilst also covering the whole of the Shotley Peninsula, I cover all villages in the vicinity of the towns mentioned from Bildeston, East Bergholt, Martlesham Heath and Stonham Aspel, to Levington, Nacton, Bramford and Gt Blakenham, I am prepared to travel further afield if required, so if you are not sure if I do cover your area, give me a call anyway, I am sure I can help.
